I really liked the grinders and adjustability for the thickness of grain you want. I like the blue light to helps show the amount falling especially the salt. I would like to of had the batteries come with it. It takes 6 AAA batteries for each grinder.
Really well designed and made. They are easy to use and because they each have a light, also easy to see how much is being dispensed. I especially like the way that pepper is loaded into the container....nice design. Coarseness adjustments are a snap.
Works as advertised. It seems to hesitate with Himalayan salt but it does grind it. Maybe what I have is too large a size? It does grind pepper no problem. It does use a lot of batteries but my daughter has this same set and hasn't changed hers in over a year. I was looking for a set that you don't have to manually grind or push a button due to arthritis and this is a solution.
